RE: "do you have to ask that question?"

Yes

It's no different than people asking me if I have any concern for the right's of men, since I regularily comment about the lack of rights women continue to have. There's nothing wrong with the question. I always explain that yes, I also have concern for men's rights (e.g. their ability to have rights to take care of children, etc.), but given that I'm a female I'm going to talk about what I know more about.

Hey, at least I asked you politely initially, rather than make a nasty assumption like you did when you said you wonder I wouldn't help a woman unless she were a feminist. That's a bit mean-spirited of a comment.

RE: "Most people do because it's human"

I would hope so.

RE: "You keep ignoring me"

True, because I'm focused on the point I brought up which you've been ignoring. After about ten posts, you finally stopped ignoring my point and answered it. Yeesh.

So, you DO have empathy for victims of other wars. Fair enough.

RE: "it is not about empathy but about profiting from crimes"

I know your point was about profiting from crimes. And I realize your point is reasonably separate from my point about empathy. What you don't realize is how you conveyed your point as well as your past focus started making me wonder whether or not you have empathy for victims of other wars, or only the one that impacted your ancestors. Thus, I asked. What I felt when you asked, is that you may not have understood that there are victims of other wars still living today where someone else is profiting from it (as well as another war where there were more people murdered than in the Holocaust), so I needed to confirm that your belief about profitization was consistent for all victims of wars, not just one, otherwise that would convey a lack of consistency and thus show you have more empathy for one group over others.

I'm done with my point - you answered my question. If I haven't answered your question, just let me know.

Regards,
Amy J
