No, but the company can sue the snot out of you if you do. They may never be able to even serve you, but they cause you to waste a lot of money in legal fees, and if not that in time.

I wouldn't think so..what merit would a company that is a scam have by telling the SEC people are saying ____________ and harming us, when they are not a legit business? The SEC would laugh at them and probably halt them on the spot, imo...
