Which parts are good????
This whole Patriot Act was a reactionary response to placate the citizens so our politicians could claim see we are doing something. IMO

To give up any rights for a false sense of security, while helps us think the boogie man is being kept at bay, just pushes our country farther down the road towards a dictatorship, monarchy (take your pick).
