Actually, Cheney is a criminal. And he will be very lucky to get away without being indicted for his high crimes. He is much more crooked than a petty corruption case like Spiro Agnew.

Criminals like Cheney and other huge white collar crime lords are more costly to our society than 100,000 petty thieves. Just look at what cheney got us into in Iraq with his lies. And all the energy gouging he defended and probably helped organize. And the outing of Plame which Libby says he was ordered to do by his "superiors" (meaning Cheney). Cheney also has personally profited by millions from his corrupt Halliburton deals, used a Dubai subsidiary to deal illegally with Iran and was guilty of accounting fraud at Halliburton.

All these are huge crimes. The pen is mightier than the sword, remember.
