I think I'd have to try something smaller first. Maybe I could work my way up to it.

I built a house for my cats a few years back with scrap material from a construction site. It was 2 stories with a 10/12 pitch roof with architect shingles. It had a covered front porch (same pitch & shingles as the main house) with 2 columns and vinyl siding on the exterior walls. The inside had 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs) and a great room with a vaulted ceiling. All the rooms were paneled and had wall to wall carpeting. The roof was removable and the 2nd floor was on hinges so the entire house could be cleaned. As a finishing touch, I picked up a little black mailbox that had a little red flag on it that could be raised or lowered. The whole project took me a half a day.
