the religion yes but I am not religios :-))
you are a bit late with genetic tests. The 1st test, I believe, was conducted on jews with the last name that sounded like kohan or kogan (priest, which is different from rabbi). All kogan jews, either african or white or asians shared unique DNA signature. Later on tests were repeated on jews in general and the results were the same. Only arabs in ME share the same origin. Having said that, what difference does it make anyway?
