That seems to me to be a pragmatic accessment. I wouldn't disagree with that.

Still, if one brings up messy little inconvenient details like that (Arab terrorism, Russian 'mafia', the average tin pot Dictator's little money-making / corner cutting schemes...) you are apt to have the 'kitchen sink' thrown at you publically: as witnessed by the admin's charges of 'racism' against congressional opposition, or, as during the Miers nomination battles, the charge of 'sexism'.... :)

What I am saying is that --- when you have a perfectly valid and defensible point about unfair trade competition and GOVERNMENT OWNED 'companies' who's home land's industries are 'protected' from US companies' free market competition --- you might not even NEED to go to the *second* level of analysis... where special security concerns get vetted.

Not that those arguments might not have significance as well. It's just that they seem a bit unnecessary at this point.

Don't we stand up for Capitalism any more?
