I don't like lightning any more after my brother in law got hit while fishing -- for the third time according to Paul Harvey -- and was killed.

On my lookout, my bed was grounded, I had lightning rods, and my chair had glass telephone insulators on the legs. I was in the middle of one heck of a lightning storm, and I was perfectly safe. Mine's the one on the left: firelookout.com

It sounds very impressive. I enjoy sitting outside and watching the lightning during the summer. It is just an awesome display of natures power.
