Long term, I agree with you that this action will be bullish. Short term, I don't think I would have been a buyer in After Hours trading. IMO the earnings warning should be something that would be considered a negative for RIMM in spite of their settling their patent dispute. I think there was a reason their CEO choose the timing of the earnings warning to be released when this settlement occurred. I'm sure that in the future many who put off buying a BlackBerry will now be able to make a purchase without worrying about a possible shutdown of their wireless device. (I'd like to buy a BlackBerry!)
