You are absolutely correct, my friend.

I know a lot of very intelligent people who voted for him. I'm constantly trying to figure out the common denominator that caused his appeal that first got him in the front door of the White House: anti-liberalism, racism, and anti-taxation.

Once there, he used fascist methods to entrench himself in power: fear, flag-waving, and media control.

He is, as you so astutely pointed out a couple years ago, "a simple-minded fool fronting a wildly mistaken ideology."
