The reason I say that is that, as I said, Intel had nothing. The Xeon was not to be for a year and a half and the PIII was not really good enough. So the entire category of x86 servers was in fact Athlon, and Anand did some stuff on it about that time.

If you have different facts, that would be fine, but smart ass comments don't really help us.

The Thesis that we are working on is that AMD ripping 14% of the x86 server market from Intel is nothing new and CERTAINLY nothing earthshaking.

AND Intel had NOTHING like NGA coming down in that next three months, like now.

And, ergo, all this rah rah stuff about AMD taking over the known universe is just fluff.
