He must have been a genuinely sweet dog....I saw a new receiving blanket the other day...various colors, but the pink one was the prettiest. However our new little Papillon is mostly white, zigzag blaze, and a fawn-red fox type accent color....I thought it might clash with the pink... And even if she looks like a darling little lady, she is such a Alpha dog, that a white blanket would look like it had been in the 3rd World War within minutes. So she didn't get one yet.

Runts can be more desirable pets because they tend to be more submissive. Our dog Daisy is just the best dog we've ever had, and she was a runt.

I taught her that I was the alpha dog by gently pinning her to the ground with my body, just to show her I could do it.
