Katherine Harris illegally erased the hard-drives before investigators or recounters could have access to the information. If there HAD been an investigation, which there SHOULD have been, these harddrives would have been Exhibit A. This is akin to Enron executives shredding documents. But what she erased was the Peoples' business, not her own. What she erased was evidence of what was behind all the irregularities in Florida 2000, including, as we later find out, the massive voter roll scrubbing of 57,700 mainly black voters, at least 5000 of which were legal Gore voters. Bush "won" by 527 votes. So Gore should have been president. This is a coup d'etat, the biggest of crimes, the criminal takeover of the US government. And if you do not think this is criminal, just because your side cheated "successfully", then go petition them to free Duke Cunningham (R). He just got 8 years in the can for corruption. In fact, the entire rightwing congress is guilty of corruption, because they all sucked off Delay and Abramoff, who were both dirty money kings.
