What was the year that the CIA projected that China's economy would finally surpass the US's in size... 2030? 2035?

(Didn't China just pass Great Britain's economy in size this year?)

It would behoove us to not 'fall asleep at the switch', not 'rest on our laurels'... but make SERIOUS efforts to control our out-of-wack spending and ever rising deficits and debt levels.

(I'm personally a proponent of for PAYGO rules on Congressional spending initiatives, as then best short-term action to take... and Constitutional amendments such as the Balanced Budget amendment, and an amendment for Presidential line-item veto power, as the best, most effective long-term fixes to the HUMONGOUS problem of the ever-expanding Big Government and Big Government's over spending.)

To keep up with the foreign competition we could do FAR WORST then to reform our polluted tax codes also....
