I have many candidates for dumbest. But the only time I went fully margined was October 1987, after the crash. My one year return was around 250%. I could have lost it all if I had guessed wrong.

options are skewed to the market maker's advantage. There would be no market if someone was not selling. I would rather it be me.

I bought a few things on margin. Dumbest thing I ever did.

Nothing like a margin call to get the adrenaline flowing.
