I haven't seen the movie Three Burials yet. Is that the Llano Estacado? The place that is so flat the Conquistadors had to plant a line of stakes in order to keep going straight?

I've never been to Hawaii and probably never will. I DO know what you are talking about. If I didn't have mountains to define a universe for me, I would be very uncomfortable. I love the seashore, but it does make me feel insecure to see all the way to the horizon without any mountains.

We're sitting on the shores of 1/6 if the worlds fresh water and I also watched amused as people buy bottled water here. Except when it's my wife. Then I'm outraged.

it's amusing to see the amount of bottled water that is sold here
