Go figure. Feds must be concerned that financial institutions may be laundering money from the "other guys'" drug smuggling business , and just want to make sure that if large sums of cash are being laundered, it's the guys connected to the "good" politicians and fundamentalist religious groups, and not the "bad" politicians and fundamentalist religious groups. Of course, at base they're probably one and the same and do business with each other all the time, but it's good sport to pretend their on opposite sides of the fence. glenn
