And most of that is because the peso is "cheap". That, of course, drives Mexicans north to work for dollars.

Mexican adoption of the dollar would have the side effect of slowing the immigration flow, and shutting up the anti-Hispanic racists here...

Fellow I buy my prescription glasses from is moving to Meridian, Mexico (located in the Yucatan area). He claims its a very beautiful city, calm and peaceful with lots of Americans living there. Anyone know anything about it? jdn
