Someon at the Ameritrade trading desk told me they could only buy Canadian warrants as a broker-assisted buy that would cost a little under 30 per transaction. Don't remember if it was dependent on the dollar amt of the trade or number of shares--just came away realizing it cost as much as penntrade.com, where you can do it online as you're watching the price action.

< Have any of you folks been able to buy Canadian warrants on Ameritrade from the U.S.? >

I did, EPM.WT.A few weeks ago. With broker assistance - phone call. You can see it in portfolio, but can't give the sell order - phone call again.

I was unlucky enough to choose low of the day price for buy. Never get filled. Looks like Ameritrade is keeping extra cent. At least in my case. Got filled few days later.
