My great disappointment is that several otherwise very intelligent posters have read everything I had to say on the subject and still delight in reverting to a simplistic left-right partisanship. I would certainly welcome the efforts of more to "keep it cleaned up" - if I could dictate the standards around here, they would be much higher. But we have this curious situation where the bulk of the posters who make the thread a lively, interesting forum want to inject a certain degree of partisanship, and enjoy the clash with the opposite partisan side. Therefore I will not be a baby-sitter imposing my own particular dictates - up to a point, the majority shall prevail. But I have no doubt who has the last word. ;<)
