The George Bush, aristocratic way to the collapse of democracy is to:

Promise to protect the American people from terrorism but betray every Constitutional guarantee that blocks a yearning for dictatorial powers to serve his wealthy class.

Promise compassionate conservative values and then betray every family, education, health, and veterans program by appointing feckless pawns like Michael Brown to gut them.

Promise to honor the servicemen who are sent in harms way and then betray veterans like John McCain, Max Cleland and John Kerry who bled for America while Bush played soldier.

Promise to be a national healer and then rule aggressively as the most divisive president since Lyndon Johnson or Richard Nixon.

Promise to be financially prudent and then turn the Clinton surplus into a ticking time bomb set by greedy aristocrats to starve all social programs except for high end tax breaks.

Promise to improve Social Security and Medicare and then betray millions of Americans without retirement and health plans in order to enrich HMO and pharmaceutical companies.

Promise to assign great American leaders to improve our crucial agencies and the Justice Department and then rely on wannabe puppets such as Scooter Libby, Michael Brown and Alberto Gonzales.
