Your question is insulting after looking at Babiy Yar, that what you saw in a picture poetrymagazine.com Evgeniy Evtushenko rote a poem about Babiy Yar, in spite of people like who did not want to hear about extermination of Jews. He suffered greatly for writing that poem yet he was proud of it - BTW, he was not a jew
