Many in this country have no problem letting others serve in this misbegotten war, nor any problem with Halliburton simultaneously wasting billions. Yet they're the first to decry the broken men standing on street corners, whose lives were ruined by the Vietnam war. Men who have no benefits, no place to turn. They deny babies and children food, clothing and shelter. Yet, they want their share in terms of disability benefits, all the while complaining about the very people who are responsible for those benefits. They don't care that 48 million are without health care, and another 93 million have substandard medical care. Once this was a great nation, now it's a looney bin and the inmates are running it.
