Cut the BS. You jerks who refuse to be on the right side of energy and environmental issues just because "someone else is doing it" are a big part of the problem we face as a nation. You are really cynical and dishonest. We as a nation are totally guzzling ourselves into a brick wall, and make no mistake, the thousands of US troops and trillions of US dollars being spent in the Middle East are 90% because of our addiction to oil. Plus, our government is corrupted by Big Oil and those bastards are gouging us good. I drive as little as I can, drive more slowly, carpool, turn off the AC and the lightbulbs. My next car will be some kind of hybrid. I am a good role model. I use 50% less energy than I used ten years ago. And it's a conscious choice. It also makes almost no difference to my lifestyle. You can do it too. Everyone can.
