Smithee, I've never tasted mutton or goat. On that point, you are most fortunate. I know a lawyer guy who had a Libyan client. Client went out to the country and bought a goat to have butchered to present to the lawyer as a gift. Not sure whether he ate any of the meat. The client was later mentioned in a book written about the Pan Am Lockerbie plane crash. I am now reminded in passing of a post made by one of SI's more venerable participants who posted a recipe for the best way to cook a bond merchant or bond trader (I forget which). Itwould probably work well for mastodon. Might want to toss in some evil Canadian short sellers and nasty MM's for good measure.
