Two friends of Gore told me he's not showing any signs of running. They work with him closely. The clear signs are travel to early primary states, meetings with fundraisers, building a web prsence and organization, hiring staff experts and getting on TV. Gore isn't doing any of it. I heard him say "I don't just want to be an ex would-be candidate for president, I want to make a difference". But he was talking about his film on global warming, not a run for public office. Gore can be fiery but deep-down I think he lacks huevos.
