THis shows fed funds rate increasng about 1999, levelling off in the latter half of 2000, then dropping after 2001, dropping again until the 3rs qtr of 2003, leveling again about the 3rd qtr of 2004 and themn starting to increase inthe last quarther of 2004.

In monety supply (M1 = currency), you can see a pretty steady rate of increase with a slight humo just before 2000. That money asppears to have headed straight for the NAZ.
