Iran is being vocal about the nuclear issue because it's the only way Iran can unite it's two extremely different factions of people - the extremists and the educated within its population. Meanwhile, our govt leaders use abortion to divide this country as a way to distract from the dismal Bush performance as well as raise money for their future elections. Uniting people is a more effective strategy for a leader to gain popularity (within a country) than dividing people.
