As mentioned at 6:55, UBS raised their WFR tgt to $55 from $35 as they believe the co is likely to create a partnership with at least one solar company, which they would view positively. They estimate WFR's solar sales could grow from 10% of its total in '05 to 22% and 37% in '07 and '08. They believe possible partners could include BP Solar or Motech in Taiwan. Firm's industry research indicates MEMC recently raised 200mm wafer prices by ~10% to Samsung, and that Samsung began paying slightly higher prices for 300mm wafers from other suppliers. They estimate 200mm wafer prices will increase 7% and 4% in '06 and '07 and 300mm wafer prices will increase 3% and 1% in '06 and '07. Firm raises their FY06 and FY07 EPS estimates.
