uh, which is is why their CFO said on the record that their hypergrowth is over and slowing down?

Why didn't any analyst mention his statement? You'd think with all those analysts someone would have brought it up. Maybe get some clarification on a statement by the CFO that caused the stock to drop 60 points?

Any particular reason they didnt?

The meeting's positive tone, as Blodgett alluded to, was in no doubt vetted by GOOG's lawyers, and as such strong Q1 results are probably in the offing.

I think the trends for search and search marketing are still unknown, it could be that December as a vehicle for web access and use is way overrated and is reminiscent of the 90s- whereas today the web is used as much in business and education and of course that business drops off in December.

I'm looking for a good quarter in April, but its 2 mos away, probably some flatlining in here for a while.
