Oscar quality? Let's see, top notch acting by an ensemble which includes Dato Bakhtadze, Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon,
Jennifer Esposito, Brendan Fraser, Ludacris, and a hundred others taking turns. Very tight exposition and cutting between tightly interlocking scenes that gave every character a chance to shine and a chance to transcend themselves. A dozen parallel stories, each one of them gripping and worthwhile.

Yeah, I'd say so.

In fact, I am going to rent it again.

Far more interesting to me than Brokeback Mountain or Capote, neither of which I'd go out of my way to see. Munich I do plan to see while it's still in the theater. Goodnight and Good Luck I will see when it's on HBO.

If that's the case, is it still Oscar quality? Apparently so.

"Oscar quality" is what the Academy members say it is.
