Yeah, I guess I am surprised. But not shocked.

BTW, I wonder who the insurgents are now (or in Steve's parlance "cockroaches"). Since we are now siding sort of with the Sunni's, does that mean the Shiites are the new insurgents?

He's hardly the first general to die in a conflict or the first person to be assassinated. Four presidents of the US have been assassinated.
