"Our current problem are the millions of young Arabs in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Iran. They have got to be presented with economic and political hope that they can avoid the circle of mafia violence that their parents were forced to live under."

How? is the $64 question. I am not sure we can do this Hawk. We are exhausted at this point and there are more immediate threats out there like iran. You say "they have to be presented with economic and political hope......." The presence of unpopular american troops is not doing this. We can stuff democracy and capitalism down their throats. Why cant you see that. In chicago they call the wind the Hawk and when the Hawk blows near the lake sometimes dominoes fall and there is not a thing to be done. Can we have stopped the Hawk when it hit New Orleans? Sorry to use your name in vain but i couldnt resist. The wind is picking up Hawk and you cant secure every freakin domino all the time everywhere. And regarding their oil--oil is fungible and as in iran if peace comes to the south and in kurdistan that fungible oil gets out there even if its sold to others.
