Loantech - I can't offer any direct recent information. There are many types of ore and some are more desirable than others, depending on what the primary feed is. One thing that must be kept in mind is that Nevada mine production actually decreased this year. I don't know how this breaks down between mill and heap leach. My guess is that there is still significant excess mill capacity, but a guess is all it is. Regarding trucking ore, it was unheard of ten years ago. Newmont got serious about it somewhere around 2000, and now there are double belly dumps all over the highways moving ore from mine to mill or roaster.
