Peter, Term limits would be very effective, if we could make them stick. I got a flyer yesterday, that the representatives in Florida are working on a way to foil the term limits we have here. IMO, such a thing should be settled by a vote of the citizens, and don't know how they plan to foil that rule. A balanced budget would be nice, but that is like a person having millions of dollars stashed away, but someone is going to find a way to dip into it. A balanced budget depends on the honesty of the Congress, and Administration, regardless of party, or office holder, and I doubt that honesty will ever become the norm in D.C.
