I'm beginning to remember the locksmith. It's all becoming clear now.

From my perspective, the problem seems to be that American culture doesn't value itself enough. It makes room for everybody's culture but its own.

It is good to have it pointed out that racism is not the exclusive purview of whites.

The really great thing is that in the US we largely do. I dont think there is another nation that can say that. After 9/11 i am still amazed how protective this govt was of the moslem community. Oh sure, they are tapping calls coming from foreign lands without warrants but thats a far cry from mistreating civilians in time of war. In a different time, liberal FDR incarcerated Japanese US citizens. None of that here and little worry of that in islamic community i am told.
