Funny, that happened last year at this time...I was supposed to do a presentation on the 11th or so last year, and we had to cancel, because of snow the night I was trying to decide what to do....I would have had to go over at least one pass, and two if I went the shorter way. At 11 the night before it was snowing and ice on the roads, ditto by 6:30 in the morning, after I cancelled at 7:30, by 10 the road was semi clear and no more snow. But I couldn't make 200 miles in a hour, so the semi-clear roads did no good...

Mother Nature sometimes is a real goofball!

The latest big Pacific storm is supposed to cross the Sierra's tonight and dump lots of snow and/or rain depending on altitude, on Tahoe, Reno, and points east later in the week.
