I really don't know. Went long AAPL recently and too early apparently... Long GOOG again now - too early so far...

thimas wiesel put out a report yesterday along the lines of .."we have surveyed aapl vars/resellers and their consensus is that selling the Intel based desktops/laptops is going to be painful this quarter for a variety of reasons and please expect lower sales..." so the drop was because thomas wiesel put out a negative report..

Honestly, AAPL's chart is saying "40-45" rather clearly.

People keep talking about the tech rally, but there's nothing that says the rally isn't grinding to a halt before our eyes. While it's true that long recovery rallies always have to climb a "wall of worry" on the right side of the charts, it's also evident that many of the leaders of this rally are at prime profit-taking levels of resistance. I just don't see where "smart money" would be buying tech today.

What I'm watching is energy. I think there's a bottom coming soon. It won't be long before "they" start hitting the Panic Button over Iran and the upcoming hurricane season. I've been fiddling around for a safe entry on PDC this week.
