I think we are talking about different things.

I agree with you that MSM and Dems consciously misrepresent the ultimate facts and thus give conclusions and opinions which are intentionally misleading.

OK. Now as to the general population not your pros, many not all seem to think a certain way politically about things. They have their idealogy and facts do not change this idealogy regardless of the facts. A socialist will often always be one even if these theories are discredited. Blaming government will always be a favorite theme for those who want government to do everything for them.

Using antedotes:

My two daughters grown up are quite liberal yet grew up where their grandparents were capitalists in airline industry and retial and I have always believed in the market theory, capitalism and made my living with facts.

Many of my friends who generally are right of center have sisters who are looney left and I mean looney with fact renditions and conspiracies way out there.

How could for example 48mill people vote for Kerry? The guy was pathological as to facts. As a Vietnam veteran and Navy man , maybe I was biased but I don't think so.

Anyway you get the point.
Regards, Rich

I am back and want to conclude my previous post to you.

Because the many in the general population are too busy, not interested, don't have the background or knowledge or training/education or experience, or they have the bias or idealogical blinders as set forth in the previous posts and study I sent you; this allows the MSM and the Dems to write and say the stuff they do unsupported by the facts or record. In fact the MSM and Dems in my opinion are well aware of the "setting" as described above and thus feel free to write and say what they do. Republicans are also not above spinning either but much much less.

So now what is happening is that with the internet, blogs, threads such as this, e-mails etc, the MSM and Dems are being caught in their misstatements, misinformation etc. Rathergate is a prime example. So the blogs etc and new communication meethods are important to check this dishonesty (After all we cannot rely soly on Tony Snow, Fox, Hannity and Rush/Kirby)
and this is what is happening and why the MSM is so mad at bloggers.
