JF, Assuming that's true, how do you achieve victory? Do all the predominantly Muslim countries have to accept all the trappings of Western culture? Not going to happen, and frankly it would be a pretty boring world if all countries became suburbs of the US. Frankly, I'm not sure how you achieve victory. Maybe they can follow developing Asian nations who have adapted to Western-style modernity. Or maybe they see the pitfalls that go with it, and the Asian nations only highlight the pitfalls in their minds. One thing I know is that the liberal notion of "You're OK, I'm OK, so we're all OK, OK?" isn't going to fly, either. Tolerance? It's a two way street. Tenchusatsu
