Strange reaction in pre-market. There was an initial surge, and now it's slipped back down below 48.

The market was definitely expecting Qualcomm to increase guidance, but I think that this reaction is underestimating the strength that these numbers show. I fully expect that analysts will bring up the inventory question, but the fact that we are still seeing strong chipset shipments would seem to indicate that handset channel inventory is still ok. The only other datapoint that I would have liked to see is was a comment about strong WCDMA chipset shipments....but I guess you cant have everything <g>.

Uh, I would be surprised if this "who cares?" pre-market action ever did NOT occur ...
