8000 Have Deserted. That's no lie. What this means is that some 6% of our troops have so little faith in Bush-Cheney after all their lies and failures that they are willing to ruin their entire careers and even put themselves in prison. That's stunning, especially since it's a volunteer army. Futhermore, recent polls have shown that about 50% of active duty and recent vets disapprove of Bush and his war. Of course we already knew all this, that Bush misled us into war and failed to plan and prepare for such a war. Bush has failed. Cheney is less popular than OJ Simpson and it's time to remove them both one at a time.
