I checked out most of the diamond explorers. I met Frank Famularo there; we hung out a bit with Mike Westerlund and Alessandro Bitelli at the Ashton booth, discussing their advancement plans, schedules, etc. It was nice to put a face on a cybre pal. I noticed Daryl Sittler sitting at the Randsburg booth randsburgdiamonds.com Probably intrigued by their "victory Strike";) I had a nice talk with Nancy Curry of Diamonds North. She reviewed status of their projects, and focused in on the Hepburn maps where they have all the signs of a pipe - indicators, shallow lake, Mag target, etc. diamondsnorthresources.com One of the great advantages of going to PDAC is you get to see a lot of maps and photos not on line or in their publications. She put together the pictures and data that says this nearly certain a pipe. It will be drilled from shore this summer after they figure out the depth of the lake, etc. DNN has a good stable of projects that should yeild some toutable results. At Amaruk diamondsnorthresources.com They have a whole FIELD under their control. I was surprised to learn that they are going to be doing "detailed prospecting in areas of indicator mineral clusters " which was explained to me to mean they are not collecting till samples, as I had thought, but kimberlite float mapping, where the will map out the float occurances to narrow the search for pipes. I found out while at the GEM booth that Pele was halted. Quite a nice day when you can announce you found a good showing of diamondiferous kimberlight while drilling for gold! Needless to say the mood was very good around that booth. They had set up a co-marketing deal with the Talisker Distillery from the Isle of Skye, so I made it a point to drop in to their room at the Royal York. They had a wonderful tasting of their single malt scotches! This was my favorite: royalmilewhiskies.com Later Al Shefsky was serving me more scotch and we were having a great'ol time. They had bagpipes and drums come into the room; nearly lost my hearing! I can't wait for next year already, I had so much fun. I didn't see MTX or TWG this year. SRM's booth was quiet, not much to report from my stop there. I may have a few more thoughts later... ... but first Vaughn, what do you think about Kodiac's results - they hit massive sulphides not far from you. Perhap you could look it over and let me know what you think. Could it be the next Voisy Bay as speculated in the National Post today? I would like to buy a piece of Voisy Bay for 100 mill cap! You can get at it from the TSX site: tsx.com Till later, LMBFrank
