I doubt it is 'news' to anyone who ever seriously thought about Iraq... the possibility that a civil war might happen.

Perhaps it is reported like 'news' in the media simply because it causes a bit of cognitive dissonance to just hear Rummie mouth the words --- he usually being so 'on topic' all the time, so in control of the media message, and here-to-fore so unlikely to countenance the possibility of civil war in Iraq?
