Ted, Intel pretty much allowed AMD to come in and take market share. You can put a large share of the blame on whoever came up with the Prescott design. I mean, the heat issues and performance-per-clock issues were well-known for years, yet someone decided that the race to 10 GHz was worth it.

Well, no one will be hitting 10 GHz anytime soon, that's for sure.
