agreed this is just the latest in a long string of mishaps, they need to grow up over there. But as for the comment, from what I can see, they are distancing themselves from a slide that said 9.5 projected revenues in 06. It reads like this is their internal target which is very high according to current estimates. I don't think there is any way to read this the way you are- that it is a miss of some sort. The negativity comes from the constant bozo-like performance. They seem to screw everything up. Worst case, the slide is a typo and they really meant 07- but even then 9.5 is high.
