the water level varies where I fish -- quite a bit. So if I 1) get tired of catching fish (yes, that does happen occasionally) or 2) I'm not doing much good fishing (happens more often than I'll admit) I start looking around the weed beds that are exposed. I don't buy rapalas, or spinners -- I just collect those. by lures, I meant fly-tying stuff. I use tungsten beads a lot. Those used to be pretty cheap, but this darn commodities rally has put the pinch on me there <g>
