I've only had Y'quem twice. One was a very old one, I was just learning at the time and didn't know the significance of its inclusion, served at the end of a spectacular wine dinner at Cellar in the Sky, the small wine dinner room at Window on the World. It was heavenly and was served with fruit and a very forward blue cheese, not a French one but Stilton. It was a revelation for me. Under $20? not even by the glass, in my experience. Money Penny

I doubt I'll ever get the opportunity to try a Y'Quem. I'd jump at the chance of course, but can't for the life of me think of an occasion where I'd get the chance. I'll certainly keep an eye out though.
