I don't know what the contradiction is. AIDS shows up in two places on earth. In one case, Africa, it's introduced into the hetrosexual community. In the other case, America, It's introduced into the homosexual community. In both cases the disease, mainly transfered through sexual contact, stayed with the original vector. Why? Because in the African case, the hetrosexual population didn't mix with the gay population. In the American case the gay population didn't mix with the hetrosexual population. Gays tend to stay with gays...and straights tend to stay with straights. Now in America, because there is some crossover, we're going to see the rapid escalation of AIDS in the hetrosexual community. The crossover happens slowly at first, through blood, needles and bisexual activity, but when the fire gets going it's going to be the same as in Africa. Unless of course people exercise restraint, use condoms...etc. Orca
