Tan Range Changes Name To Tanzanian Royalty Expl >TRE

Tan Range Exploration Corp. (TRE) has changed its name to Tanzanian Royalty Exploration Corp. following shareholder and stock-exchange approval.

The mineral-exploration company said the new name more accurately reflects its strategy of producing unencumbered royalty income through exploration and investment in gold and other prospective mineral properties in Tanzania.

It said it will maintain its existing trading symbols on the Toronto Stock Exchange and American Stock Exchange, being "TNX" and "TRE", respectively.
